Position Summary	
The Information Technology Office Temp will report directly to the Chief Information Officer. Principal responsibilities include assisting with creation and delivery of technology training programs for the Susquehanna community, extensive editing and writing, multi-channel digital communications, technology-centric research, consumer technology purchasing and CIO administrative support. Personally assists and supports the CIO's mandate to provide a high performing enterprise technology operation. Seen as a campus advocate for enabling technology.

Specific responsibilities include
Managing an active calendar of appointments
Completing expense reports and other form initiated processes
Manage office hiring and recruiting process, including affirmative action requirements
Composing and preparing correspondence that is occasionally confidential
Arranging detailed travel plans and itineraries
Drafting committee meeting agenda and minutes
Providing CIO phone coverage, answer inquiries, take and relay messages
Assisting with the review and screening of unsolicited email
Organizing presentations, webinars, and other functions
Managing questions, concerns, and requests directed to the office of the CIO
Supervising student employees and assistantship recipients as needed
Casual assisting with coordinating the administrative needs of other IT staff

Required Qualifications
High School diploma with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience required.
Must have excellent presentation, editing and writing skills and a demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments at one time, with strong regard for detail.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications with experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment preferred.
Broad knowledge of cloud-based enterprise productivity applications, competency with the latest consumer technology, administrative and organizational/office practices, procedures, and standards preferred.
