Assists in the coordination of the academic subject matter of the Nursing program; instructs classes, clinicals, and labs in assigned division; coordinates assigned activities with other college programs, divisions, departments and outside agencies; and provides highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Director, Nursing Program and to the Department Chair, Health Sciences.
This is a 9 month faculty position working from mid-August to mid-May each academic year.

Two years of experience as a registered nurse in acute care setting. Current, unrestricted license or multistate licensure privilege to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina.
Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or Bachelor's degree in Nursing and completion of graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution within five years of initial full-time employment required.
Prior to or within first three years of employment, must have preparation in teaching and learning principles for adult education, including curriculum development, implementation and evaluation, appropriate to assignment.
License or Certificate:
Possession of a current unrestricted license or multistate licensure privilege to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina. Possession of an appropriate, valid driver's license.
