Manage GMP and Research Development projects in the Robertson Clinical and Translational Cell Therapy (CT2) Program.

Develop, coordinate, and implement strategies essential to the successful management of manufacturing and research development projects.
Apply project management knowledge, technical and interpersonal skills, and project management tools to manage a variety of responsibilities, including design of research development projects, oversight of the technology transfer into GMP, development of SOPs, implementation of manufacturing projects, and optimization of procedures.
Supervise and direct junior staff to achieve project goals.
Implement standard project management processes, tools and methodology to determine best resource allocation and distribution of tasks for ongoing responsibilities and new projects.
Create and execute research work plans and revise them as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Serve as a resource to faculty and staff in identifying and accessing the appropriate complement of resources and support needed to achieve their goals.
In collaboration with the GMP Laboratory Manager, implement best project management practices to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close projects.
Apply scientific, technical, and clinical knowledge to achieve established project goals.
Develop and implement risk assessment strategies to identify operational problems or obstacles that could jeopardize project completion. Assess project barriers and recommend to TC2 leadership alternative actions to ensure project completion.
Assist Senior Scientific Advisor and other team members in the development and execution of plans, time lines, and processes for research projects, contribute to the ongoing analysis and modification of protocols; recommend amendments to protocols as appropriate.
Identify potential problems and/or inconsistencies and take action as appropriate.
Plan, lead, and facilitate cross-functional project team meetings for projects that require collaboration from multiple functional groups to enable technology transfer from the basic research laboratory to the GMP facility.
Develop detailed task lists and work effort assessment and short and long-term resource allocation plans based on input from all key players and team members.
Proactively assess and analyze any risks and issues that may compromise team performance and results and develop plans to remove or mitigate them.
Monitor project compliance to applicable regulatory requirements and institutional standards.
In collaboration with the GMP Lab Manager, ensure required resources are lined up and available to meet research project timelines.

Preferred qualifications: training in Project Management or related training is desired and two years of experience in project management, with increasing scope and independence. Knowledge of project management tools. Experience in cell culture, and GMP environment. Attention to detail.
Excellent people skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to organize workload and handle several projects at a time
