GRANTS COORDINATOR B
Duties: Under direction, provide pre and post award research and financial administration support for the Gene Therapy program. Prepare proposal budgets, monitor grant expenditures for compliance, monitor financial activities, produce financial reports, provide liaison to the Perelman School of Medicine's Research Support Services and to the University's Office of Research Service. Serve as a resource regarding grant compliance concerns. Reports to the senior administrator within the department and has dotted reported line to the PSOM Office of Research Support Services.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 4 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Grant and contract administration and/or accounting preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (spreadsheet applications using Excel). Experience in University financial systems preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be detailed oriented, flexible and able to prioritize independently.
