Job description

Duties: This position is to ensure the successful execution of Translational Research projects of major strategic value to the Department and Division. The candidate will work under the close supervision of Drs. Dorsey and Kao. He/she will be engaged in bench-top research work, including developing new protocols for digital PCR and analyses of circulating tumor material (knowledge of the latter two areas are required). Candidate will also exercise autonomy in and independently carry out tissue culture, reagent handling, sample processing, compilation and presentation of results. The ideal candidate must possess extremely high levels of independence, reliability, flexibility of schedule, and communication accessibility and skills.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
