Duties: The Research Specialist will be involved with the study of donor organ-specific exosome profiles from transplant recipient patients' blood/bodily fluids which can serve as a novel, non-invasive, accurate, and time-sensitive biomarker assay to monitor transplant organ rejection/injury. Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, assist in the care of the animals, tissue culture, and histology; coordinate the collection of human samples, clinic visits, patient consents, documentation and monitoring. This position will also help perform the exosome isolation analysis, and RNA profiling assays as well as with data analysis.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Required skills include basic animal handling skills, good organizational skills, experience with tissue culture and histology.
