Position: Instructor of Violin. A one-semester, non-tenure track, sabbatical replacement position.
Employment Date: August 16, 2017
Duties: Teach applied violin to undergraduate and graduate students; conduct a bi-weekly master class; coach chamber music; and possibly perform with the Faculty String Quartet. Other duties may be assigned by the School of Music.
Qualifications: Master's degree in violin performance or closely related field is required; doctorate preferred. Successful teaching experience at the collegiate level is highly desirable. State law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
