Minimum $42,167 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required. Data Science, Medical Informatics, Computer Science or related field preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

1-2 years of database development and maintenance experience strongly preferred. Experience with basic database design (Access and SQL) as well as R and VBA programming are required. Experience with medical information systems is preferred. Experience with Java, C#, JDBC/ODBC, MATLAB, or C/C++ is preferred. Research experience preferred with knowledge of regulatory procedures for limited data sets and anonymization of data. Experience with data communication and data visualization preferred.

A minimum of seven years' experience required for appointment at the senior level.



Position Summary:

The successful candidate will develop and maintain multi-relational database systems to meet the computing needs of breast cancer research in the lab of Dr. Elizabeth Burnside.
