Job Description
This position provides professional and development services that support the recruitment and retention of underrepresented and underserved undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Engineering and Computing. The Inclusive Program Coordinator will also support efforts to obtain external funding for programs and initiatives for minorities. The coordinator will work under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Diversity, Engagement, and Inclusion but will facilitate coordinated efforts among the College of Engineering offices, such as Student Services, Career Center, Alumni Relations and Development office. Duties include: 1) Support services and programs for the recruitment of targeted graduate students. Coordinate with appropriate offices for supporting students with diverse backgrounds and special needs. 25%; 2) Prepare proposals and work with the Alumni Relations and Development office to obtain funding for programs that support diversity, engagement and inclusion. 25%; 3) Synthesize institutional data on students. Compile data to generate records and charts of student enrollment, retention and graduation. Summarize information and prepare reports on students for departments, the college, and other stakeholders. 20%; 4) Coordinate services and programs for the recruitment of targeted undergraduate students. Monitor student performance, identify students at risk, and recommend interventions. 15%; and 5) Support services and programs for the recruitment and retention of targeted faculty. 15%


Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree and 4 years relevant program experience, or a bachelor's degree and 6 years relevant program experience.
