Leads all aspects of Dining, Vending, Logo Licensing, Bookstores, and Mail operations. Contributes to the organizationā€˜s success by maintaining high standards of quality service and managing to the terms and conditions of the outsourced University contracts. Monitors the financial performance of all auxiliary operations to ensure revenue potential is maximized. Directs any potential new product and service opportunities, negotiates contracts for new business concepts and coordinates national branding operations, and plans and coordinates renewal and replacement of auxiliary facilities. Must be able to lead multiple projects concurrently and work in a fast-paced environment. Keeps abreast of management trends to initiate appropriate innovations; initiate and lead deployment and compliance of standard processes, specifications and best practices; actively pursue ongoing improvement of the effectiveness and efficiencies of Auxiliary Services. In addition, must be a highly effective communicator with exceptional relationship management skills to effectively execute strategic solutions.


Bachelor's Degree required, with MBA preferred.

Five or more years of experience in directing self-supporting auxiliary operations at an administrative level, either in a self-operated or contracted environment.

Negotiation and contract management skills required.

Financial background with profit and loss responsibility required. Ability to prepare and manage budgets and analyze financial statements.

Operations and/or project management experience require.

Must have ability to communicate well with all levels of the University community in both verbal and written form.

Ability to work collaboratively with a wide variety of constituents across the University

Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills required.
