Lecturer in Film and Video Production
The Visual Arts program at the Lewis Center for the Arts, Princeton University is seeking a part-time lecturer in film and video production. This is a one-semester or one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. The position begins September 1, 2017. Please send a resume, sample syllabi from previous courses taught,and the names and contact information of three references (required). This position is subject to the University's background check policy. MFA or equivalent experience required. The ideal person is professional filmmaker with at least THREE YEARS university teaching experience who is proficient in many aspects of filmmaking (for example in screenwriting, directing, camerawork and/or editing). Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere CC. Please make note of your areas of teaching--i.e. whether narrative or documentary or experimental film production. Please send a sample syllabus for each of the areas in which you've taught.
