Vice President for University Relations and Marketing

Western Washington University (Western) invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President for University Relations and Marketing. The Vice President provides leadership and direction for Western’s marketing and communication strategies to enhance university relations, student recruitment and retention, and student success and reports to the President. The position will have a start date of August 2017.

Located on 212 picturesque acres in Bellingham, Washington, a city of 83,580 people located between Seattle, Washington and Vancouver, British Columbia, the main campus of Western Washington University is perennially ranked as the best public, master's-granting university in the Pacific Northwest and No. 2 in the West, according to U.S. News & World Report college rankings.

The Office of University Relations and Community Development (as it is currently known) is responsible for developing and implementing effective communication and marketing strategies to enhance university relations, student recruitment and retention, and student success.
