Part Time Lecturer - English/ESL

Job Description:

The Department of English at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth seeks Part-Time Lecturers to teach content-based designed composition/writing courses in the First-Year English (FYE) program, specifically for culturally and linguistically diverse international populations.  The FYE program focuses on developing first-year students’ academic argument skills, with particular attention on reading and writing. Qualified candidates could begin as soon as summer 2017 with possible further positions in fall 2017.


Minimum Qualifications: Must have a Master's degree or higher in English or related field; college/university teaching experience required. ESL/EFL certification/ training required.

Preferred requirements: Training and/or experience teaching college writing, particularly academic argument.
