Job Description Summary:

The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences provides undergraduate and graduate programs focused on engaging students in the acquisition and application of knowledge of human communication and its disorders. Whether learning about communication sciences or the relationship between language and society, students studying speech and hearing sciences receive in-depth knowledge of all aspects of communication, including the consequences of speech and hearing challenges on individuals and society and the treatment of communication impairments.

The Department of Speech and Hearing Science is searching for a full-time Clinical Supervisor reporting to the Clinical Director. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of graduate students at the Speech and Hearing Center's clinic, an on-campus, out-patient facility as well as off-campus sites.
• Observing and mentoring students that are providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in various clinical tracks
• Evaluating student performance and clinical writings
• Providing performance feedback to students and providing input on student grades
• Meeting with clients and/or families as necessary
• Attending faculty/staff meetings
• Performs other work-related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Additional Required Licenses/Certifications/Posting Specific Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology
• Completion of Fellowship (CFY)
• A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in a specific disorder area may be preferred.
