This posting will establish and maintain a pool of part-time lecturers with experience teaching general History courses, such as the U.S. Survey or World History and courses within their area of expertise, for the Department of History in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Denver.
By submitting your application, you will become part of an applicant pool. Candidates hired from this pool will fill temporary, non-tenure track positions and will teach no more than two courses per semester. Appointments will be part-time (less than 50%) and will be made semester-by-semester, depending on the needs of the department and subject to budgetary approval. Therefore, this posting does not necessarily reflect a current open position. This temporary Lecturer recruitment pool is anticipated to remain continuously active until December 31, at which point all applicants will be cleared from the pool. Applicants are encouraged to apply to future recruitment pools after that date.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in History from an accredited university. Previous teaching experience.
Desired Qualifications: PhD or ABD in History
Salary and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with skills and experience. This will be a semester-by-semester appointment, with the possibility of renewal.
This part-time appointment is not eligible for group health, life insurance, or retirement benefits.
