The successful candidate will conduct research in super-resolution imaging with a focus on neuroscience. The candidate will work closely in a team involving engineers, physicists, and neuroscientists to help demonstrate the full capabilities of the instrument. The candidate will characterize structure and function in the submicrometer range in neuronal features such as dendritic spines, myelin, olfactory and primary cilia and write up protocols, assist with technical development, and conduct proof-of-concept experiments. HIPAA trainings are required.

Preferred qualifications are a strong research background in neuroscience, as well as knowledge of super-resolution imaging.
