Due to expanding clinical service requirements, the University of Colorado Denver, Department of Anesthesiology is looking for an American Board of Anesthesiology and Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography certified, fellowship trained, full time Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist at an Assistant or Associate Professor Level. Currently we have 6 full-time cardiothoracic anesthesiologists, an ACGME approved Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship, and we provide day- and call coverage for over 600 bypass, 600 thoracic, high-risk vascular, high-risk off-site electrophysiology and catheterization laboratory cases. Responsibilities will include clinical service, including call requirements and to participation in resident and fellow education. Proven clinical track record, academic accomplishments and motivation, such as publications or clinical research are a plus.

Candidates must be board-certified/board eligible in Anesthesiology and Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography with advanced fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology and have an interest in joining an expanding Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology team.
