Position Summary: The Assistant/Associate Athletic Trainer will provide coverage and support for the women's soccer and men's baseball teams.


Duties include:
  • Primary coverage of fall women’s soccer and spring men’s baseball.
  • Assisting nine other staff athletic trainers with coverage of five co-ed athletic training rooms.
  • Developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
  • Document injuries.
  • Provide oversight of home and away practices and games.
  • Handle various duties as assigned by the head athletic trainer.

Other: Arkansas State University-Jonesboro, is a Football Bowl Subdivision member of the Sun Belt Conference that sponsors 16 sports.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred), NATA-BOC Certification and be eligible for an Arkansas State Board of Athletic Training License. Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
