Position Summary: The Operations Applications Analyst is part of the Operations Applications Support Team, focusing on technology implementations, operational process and acquisitions and serves as a resource to providers and staff in the appropriate use and enhancement of technology applications. This position is responsible for ensuring effective technical operational practices in support of the delivery of quality patient care in the clinic setting.

Faculty: Minimum Qualifications Support Staff: Minimum Requirements Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a four-year college degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business; three to five years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in an
information technology role working in an outpatient physician practice or ambulatory setting with direct responsibility for patient care activities, or with ambulatory electronic health record vendor; experience working with health information technology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typing Requirements (wpm):

Desired Qualifications: Experience in the clinical component of an outpatient physician practice, as a nurse or medical assistant; experience in the revenue cycle component of an outpatient physician practice; comprehensive working knowledge of scheduling and billing systems; comprehensive working knowledge of electronic health records.
