Instructor, Undergraduate Retention #603137
Northern Arizona University’s Office of Undergraduate Retention is seeking up to two full-time, nine month, benefit-eligible instructors to teach in our first year student success courses. Duties will include teaching first year student success courses, developing curriculum within the “Rethink Possible” program, a series of engaging, interactive eight-week courses that support students in exploring the “big questions” of college and beyond. This position will report to the Director of the Academic Transition Programs within Undergraduate Retention and articulate closely with the Program Director of the Rethink Possible program.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicant must have a Master’s degree, at least one year of experience teaching courses at the university or secondary level, (teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant will count toward teaching experience).
Annual Salary: Salary is $38,000 per academic year (Fall 2017-Spring 2018) for full-time position(s).
