You will lead the Productivity Solutions product team, which includes Document Solutions and Productivity Apps. The Document Solutions team primarily provides document repository and document scanning services, and this team also support productivity apps for eSignature and enterprise forms and workflow. The Productivity Apps team supplies cloud productivity solutions that are useful for individuals and workgroups. The goal for our product teams is to become self-sustaining, with a team-derived process for innovation and continuous improvement of both our products and our operations (e.g. lean, agile, devops).
You provide leadership (operational and strategic leadership) to cultivate the mission of IMT Document Solutions: to seek out and delivers agile productivity solutions and services to meet workgroup needs related to document workflow and collaboration. You will directly supervise approximately five staff and a few student employees, discipling them to grow professionally and spiritually. You will also be responsible for projects and agreements with departments utilizing the team's services.
A successful candidate must understand the strategic value of unstructured or ad-hoc information assets at the institution and be able to move from traditional imaging practices to new service opportunities around content and knowledge management through web collaboration. You will also need to be someone with strong desire and skills in information and business process efficiency.
As a member of the Personal Technology management team, you will partner with the Director to promote the overall value of personal technology services and flourishing of the self-managed product teams, helping to improve team-based operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline processes.
Bachelor's degree in business, MIS, computer science, engineering, or other related degrees required.
Master's degree and ITIL and Scrum certification preferred
Should have 3-5 years of demonstrated technical management/supervisory experience in the field of Information Technology
Minimum of three years experience in several Information Technologies fields (e.g. document management, scanning/imaging, content management systems, workflow, customer service, database, networking, and web technologies)
Should have experience in several of the following disciplines, concepts, or practices:
IT customer service
Experience with document management systems such as Alfresco and Ephesoft
Experience with Google GSuite (especially Drive, Docs, Sites, and Groups), and cloud opportunities from Google Apps Marketplace and similar services.
Experience with web content and collaboration systems (Wiki, web publishing, social services).
Communication and marketing techniques
Project and product management methodologies
Vendor communication and management
Higher Education context preferred
