Assistant/Associate Professor Nursing
Fayetteville State University is a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina and the second oldest public institution of higher education in the state. Founded in 1867 as the Howard School for the education of African Americans, today FSU serves a growing student body of approximately 6,000 and ranks among the nation’s most diverse campus communities.
The successful candidate will teach in the baccalaureate nursing program. The candidate will teach, supervise students in clinical settings; engage in scholarly activities including grantsmanship and publication; advise students; provide supplemental instruction; participate in departmental, community, and university service.
The Department of Nursing seeks a committed, scholar and nursing educator, capable of contributing to the continued expansion of the RN-BSN degree program and a four-year generic licensure program. The candidate must be able and willing to teach across curricula.

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements:
The Assistant/ Associate Professor position must have a MSN; an earned doctorate from an accredited institution, an extensive nursing teaching and/or clinical experience in Medical/Surgical Nursing and/or Maternal/ Child Nursing and a publication record sufficient for being eligible for tenure track.
