Job description

Duties: Support research with Professor Mark Yim. This position will include independently planning, designing, analyzing and fabricating extendable joint robotic arm components; Will perform full life cycle of robot development, from concept generation to design and manufacture. Develop controllers, software and hardware to control robot arm. Design, develop, and maintain software infrastructure necessary for complex robotic systems to operate successfully.

Position is contingent on continued funding.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Previous experience working in laboratory environment preferred. Knowledge of design and fabrication of extendable joint robotic arm components.
