General Summary: The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for Summer Scholars Administrative Support. This position involves administrative tasks such as record keeping, database management, assistance with lesson planning, working with students, and translating and interpreting (Spanish language).

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Record keeping (student grades, attendance, assignments)
  • Database management (forms and documents related to admission, grades, and transcripts)
  • Attend field trips and planning meetings
  • Assist with student supervision and instruction as needed
  • Serve as translator for parents (Spanish language) in person and with documents


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Fluent in Spanish; data-processing skills; digital tools management


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Successful completion of one or more Foundations courses: EDUC 2110, 2120, 2130
  • Fieldwork associated with foundations courses; minimum of 20 hours
