The Princeton Neuroscience Institute has a Research Specialist I position available in the lab of Professor Ken Norman. The research specialist will be assisting with new NIH-funded studies of how neural representations change as a function of learning. Depending on qualifications/interest, the research specialist may also assist with developing computational models of learning using deep neural networks. This is a one-year term position with the possibility of renewal based of satisfactory performance and continued funding.

Responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks, including designing, programming, and executing behavioral, EEG, and fMRI experiments, data analysis, subject recruitment, and some administrative work.
Required: Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related quantitative field (e.g., physics, engineering)
Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with machine learning methods for neural data analysis and strong programming skills
The final candidate will be required to complete a background check successfully.
