Assistant Professor – Nursing (R-0120)
Fort Hays State University Department of Nursing, as part of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences (CHBS), is seeking one full-time, nine month nursing faculty for undergraduate studies to commence on August 10, 2017.
Fort Hays State University Department of Nursing serves undergraduate students in a traditional on-campus BSN program and a virtual RN to BSN program. This position will serve in the role of Assistant Professor and will teach a full-time load in the Department of Nursing. This position will be tenure track and require service and scholarship in the nursing field. The candidate will provide in classroom lecturing, attend undergraduate clinicals, and teach online courses.
Minimum qualifications: The candidate must hold a BSN degree and be working toward a MSN degree completion (documentation of acceptance into a MSN program). The candidate must have an RN license (Kansas or eligible). A candidate that is hired who currently holds a BSN degree and is working towards an MSN degree, will be hired in an Instructor position that is not on tenure track.
