The Interactive Arts and Media Department at Columbia College Chicago seeks applicants for a full-time tenure-track or tenured faculty position beginning August 2017.

Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in interaction design, usability and user experience matched by a vibrant, complementary practice in programming that directly supports user experience and interaction design. They will also exhibit excellent teaching and scholarly credentials and be passionate about undergraduate and graduate education. Intellectual curiosity, an ability to communicate and work well in teams, and an understanding of user behavior and team production methodologies is essential for the position. Of particular interest are those with proven leadership skills, experience in curriculum development, and an interest in coordination of a major in interactive media. Additional responsibilities include service to department and college committees.

Applicants must hold a terminal degree.

The Interactive Arts and Media Department is one of four departments in the School of Media Arts, which includes Audio Arts and Acoustics, Cinema and Television Arts, and Communication. To apply please visit:
