The French & Francophone Studies Program at Bucknell University invites applications for a full-time, one-year replacement, at the assistant professor level in French Studies, to begin August 2017. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in pre-Revolutionary literature and culture, and expertise in teaching language, literature, and culture in French at all levels. Candidates should demonstrate native or near-native fluency in French, and excellence in undergraduate teaching of language and literature or cultural studies to a diverse student body. PhD in French Studies in hand is preferred, but ABD candidates may be considered. The position involves teaching three courses each semester.
