We invite applications for an open rank, 9-month,  tenure-track Family Nurse Practitioner faculty appointment, who will lead the FNP Sequence at Illinois State University Mennonite College of Nursing.

Required qualifications

Candidates must possess the following:

  • Doctorate ( or DNP), in nursing or related field ( in Nursing required if doctorate not in nursing). ABDs will also be considered.
  • Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner by 8/16/2017
  • Passion for teaching and learning
  • Proven potential for scholarly productivity
  • Licensed (or eligible) Advance Practice Registered Nurse in Illinois by 8/16/2017
  • A successful criminal background screening and negative drug screening (conducted at final candidacy)
  • For teaching positions, state law mandates demonstrable oral proficiency in the English language as a requirement for this position.
