WordPress Web Developer
The WordPress Developer will provide web development services and support for MarketingXchange and its clients. This person will be involved in new website development, updating existing websites and on-going maintenance of our clients. The applicant must have experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, XML, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Candidate must have a thorough working knowledge of WordPress Website Development. Prior work history in web development department/company is a plus.
If you have to wait for a lot of detailed instruction, this job is not for you. MarketingXchange is a "get it done" environment where taking charge is a must. We also have a lot of fun and encourage personality, freedom of ideas and expression. Some client interaction may be required. Works With: Marketing & Web Consultants, SEO Specialists, Social Media Specialists, Inbound Marketing Strategists, Copywriters, Web Designers and Clients.
Terms of Employment: There will be a 90-day probationary period in which an employee evaluation will take place. At this time, continuation of employment will be decided upon between both parties. Insurance will be an optional for the employee at this time.
Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator (including Vector), Photoshop, Dreamweaver, some working knowledge of HubSpot is a plus. Knowledge of PC and Mac are required.
The WordPress Developer must be able to work under tight deadlines. He/she must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time, including some of which may fall outside this job description. Being able to think on your feet without being managed is a plus. A candidate who possesses copywriting and proofreading skills will have an advantage.
Education & Work History Requirements:
A bachelor's degree or the equivalent is required in web development, programming or related IT field. A minimum of 2 years experience in an agency or corporate environment in a related position is necessary.
