Responsibilities

This position is responsible for processing transactions and providing administrative support for the Facilities Human (FHR) Resources satellite office. Serves as the first point of contact/reception for the office.
Processes employee appointments and personnel actions for Facilities employees in OMNI HR/PR including reviewing documents for completeness and accuracy as related to Federal, State and University policies and procedures.
Provides administrative support for the Facilities HR office by assisting walk-ins with applications, completing OMNI HR processes, and answering general HR related inquiries.
Provides support to FHR and Employment and Recruitment Services by completing administrative functions related to pre-employment and criminal history background check process in accordance with current policies and procedures.
Supports Associate Director, FHR and FHR Generalists with transactional processes by initiating appropriate personnel actions for Facilities employees, to include, but not limited to: employee separations, changes in position descriptions, changes in assignments, etc. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; or a high school diploma or equivalency and four years of experience.
(Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Experience gathering, interpreting, reporting, and use data and other information concerning assigned activities. /P>Experience performing work with accuracy in a detail oriented environment.
Proficient in prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipated minimum salary: $30,000.00.

Pay Plan

This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.

Schedule

If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
