Assist Production Manager
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Assistant Production Manager supports the Production Manager to manage broadcast and digital audio projects, including recording and editing audio. Responsible for sound production and audio engineering of speech and music-based programming in the studio and on location. Manage and execute post-production, including editing, mixing, processing and final preparation for broadcast of program elements, in collaboration with Arts and Culture Reporters, Director of Content, and Membership staff. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in media production, communications, or technical field. Three years of directly related experience in music and voice audio editing for broadcast applications. Demonstrated experience in broadcasting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Required Skills & Abilities: * Demonstrated abilities in broadcasting. * Strong knowledge of sound production and audio engineering.
* Excellent skills in Adobe Audition (preferred) or other audio editing software.
* Excellent skills in live voice and music recording and mixing.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships, multi-task and work well in a changing environment.* Superior organization skills and attention to detail. * Strong writing and editing skills. * Excellent teamwork and communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products.
