Admission Counselor CCPA
Job Summary: The Admission Counselor for Chicago College of Performing Arts has direct contact with prospective students, their families, and faculty and is responsible for the public face of the recruitment efforts for the Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA). The successful candidate will be one of four staff members responsible for recruitment travel and will directly oversee the application process for more than 500 of our applicants. The Admission Counselor will be responsible for executing independent judgement in determining recruitment strategies in an assigned geographic territory. This is a full-time, exempt administrative position that reports to the Assistant Dean of Enrollment Management in the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Travel is required. Some evenings and weekends required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: A bachelor's degree. A minimum of 1 year experience working in college admission, student affairs, customer service, or related field. The ability to travel and recruit is essential to this position. Excellent organizational, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships. Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence by embodying Roosevelt's core values, mission, and vision in every aspect of the role working with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. A positive and professional demeanor is a must. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
