ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
Duties: The Assistant Director, Family Resource Center, assists with the development and management of programming to support students and post docs with children and their families. The Assistant Director oversees and manages Center communications, including the website, newsletters, and social media presence. The Assistant Director manages Family Center memberships including: database oversight, application and benefit approvals, and membership inquiries. This position will assist with managing the operations of the Family Center and will supervise 3-4 student workers.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree plus 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; experience working with families and children preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sensitivity to the needs and concerns of diverse groups of students. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with administrators, faculty, and student leaders. High level of organizational and administrative skills. Excellent writing and presentation skills. Experience in program planning, staff supervision, communications, and social media management. Knowledge of Penn systems a plus.
