General Summary: The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a PROS Program Coordinator. The PROS Program Coordinator will coordinate the implementation and execution of the PROS (Personal Roadmap to Ongoing Success) student professional development program. The program is designed to ensure students of the Mike Cottrell College of Business (MCCB) are work-ready upon graduation and more successful in their on-going careers. All MCCB BBA students (approximately 4,000) are required to complete the program as a requirement for graduation.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: The PROS Program Coordinator will:
  • Coordinate various activities and events specifically designed and selected to enhance student professionalism including:
    • Coordination and design of events and activities for the program to satisfy all types of MCCB students across multiple campuses.
    • Review and record keeping of the students' progress through the program.
  • Coordinate involvement and partnerships of regional and national business professionals and community leader including:
    • Build a list of external professionals who may assist in programs.
    • Coordinate the scheduling and participation of external professionals.
    • Manage a tracking system for student participation and completion, external connections and participation, completion documentation, and activity/event scheduling.
  • Coordinate with other UNG departments and programs to share activities for student development. Many existing activities and events across the UNG campuses will be included in the activities to be completed by the MCCB students.
  • Incorporate and record key performance measures to ensure the program is providing positive impact.
  • Complete reports of the status of the program including student participation and progress through the program, and external business volunteers.
  • Assist in the pursuit of the acquisition of grants and sponsorships to assist in funding center initiatives.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must have knowledge of complex business practices and budgetary controls
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • High ethical standards and ability to work with a variety of internal and external constituents, including service providers, vendors, faculty and staff


Certifications/Licenses & Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years related experience required
