The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine's Department of Microbiology and Immunology has an exciting opportunity for a Post-Doctoral Associate. This position performs complex laboratory assignments. Plans and conducts projects related to cell culture and molecular biology in support of a project related to HIV and aging which is funded by NIH.


The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. or M.D. in Microbiology or a closely related field of study. Two years of research laboratory experience is highly desirable. Seeking a person with a background in human immunology, flow cytometry, bioinformatics, vaccine immunology, t-cell biology and/or antibody responses. Proficient in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Coral Draw and other graphics software is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in the English language. Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
