Job Description

We are an IT consulting company based in Lindenhurst NY providing technology solutions from medium to large sized businesses. Our clients are located all over the country. This position is for our South Florida clients, primarily based in Coral Springs, FL. Applicant MUST have a minimum of a MSCE or MCSA certification or equivalent.

We are currently looking for a reliable FULL-TIME systems engineer that can also handle help-desk duties. This position will be primarily based in Coral Springs, FL however limited travel to other clients in South Florida may be possible.

• Be available to work during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm)

• Work in a fast paced environment

• Analyze and provide solutions to issues presented by various customers

• Be professional and polite

• Collaborate with team members regarding resolutions to various issues

• Take notes on all tickets and service calls

• Be available to work different hours and possibly after hours support as required by the Helpdesk/Field Support Manager

• Pass a background check

• Be extremely punctual


• Taking end user phone calls and providing assistance to resolve issues

• Documenting user issues and creating service tickets using proprietary ticket software

• Resolve issues on-site with clients, contact vendors as needed

Applicants must have the following:

• Reliable transportation

• Mobile Phone (Blackberry or Smartphone is preferred but not required)

• Industry certifications (MSCE, CCNA)


• Technical school, 2 or 4 year college degree, or equivalent work experience

• Minimum one-year experience in domain environment, 3+ years in computer troubleshooting

• Comptia A+ or equivalent certification required

• Must have at least one industry certifications such as MSCE, MCP, MCTS, CCNA


• Proficiency in Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Mac

-Previous experience with administering and setting up new users on Office 365/Hosted Exchange

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013

• Active Directory Server Setups and User Management including security groups and GPOs

• Knowledge of TCP/IP networks

• STRONG knowledge of virus removal, software and hardware installation, and configuration (drivers, imaging etc)

• Excellent time/project management skills

• Knowledge of remote access software (Logmein, VNC, Remote Desktop)

• Exchange, Google Apps, POP/IMAP, Firewall, VPN

• Knowledge of Blackberry, iPhone, Droid
