Job Responsibilities: The Cybersecurity Assessment Analyst will function as an integral member of the Cybersecurity Assessment Team (CSAT) and will be responsible for all aspects cybersecurity assessment for information assurance enabled systems, subsystems, components, support systems and network and non-network devices. Specifically, this will include hardware and software inventory reconciliation; hardware and software configuration assessment (including all information assurance enabled network devices) using applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Security Requirement Guides (SRGs), Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) bulletins and alerts, and community best practices; and network ports, protocol and services management (PPSM) assessment. Responsible for employing automated, semi-automated and manual techniques either individually or in concert using the respective Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) prescribed tools including the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and the Nessus Scanner, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC) and STIG Viewer. Responsible for conducting assessments using both Graphical User Interface (GUI) and Command Line Interface (CLI) environments as outlined in appropriate STIGs. Responsible for collecting and analyzing system configuration files from workstations, servers, peripheral devices and network devices including switches, routers, firewalls.

POSITION Qualifications: Requires a BA/BS and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

DoD 8570.01-M compliant IAT II certification to include: CompTIA Security+ CE

Must be familiar with all assessment methods including automated, semi-automated and manual techniques employing the respective Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) prescribed tools including Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and the Nessus Scanner, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) Compliance Checker (SCC) and STIG Viewer.

Must be able to employ each of these methods individually or in concert during the conduct of periodic site cybersecurity assessments.

Must be familiar with both Graphical User Interface (GUI) use Command Line Interface (CLI)

Preferred additional qualifications:

Windows, UNIX or LINUX certifications, CCNA certifications

Windows Power Shell or UNIX BASH scripting experience desired.

Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. passport

Travel: up to 25% including overseas
