Job Description

GrahamGolden Technologies is an evolving, growing firm with a serious, but supportive company environment and a team-based approach that involves both collaboration and self-directed work. Our consultants are known for efficiently solving complex technical issues, responsive and clear communication, and meeting client and project goals. We appreciate the value of hard work and celebrate our shared accomplishments.

We are looking for a new team member: a smart, competent strategic thinker and troubleshooter who is comfortable explaining very technical information to non-technical end users and executives, who has earned a bachelor's or master's degree in a computer-related field and multiple technical certifications, and who has 10+ years' of relevant experience. As a seasoned technical veteran, you will
be able to hit the ground running, yet you also will enjoy continuing to learn. Our success depends on a team with strong project and time management skills, as well as the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a sometimes frenetic environment.

GGT provides infrastructure design, implementation, and management, including servers, network and security, and VoIP systems, as well as cloud services planning, migration, and support. The key technologies in use are:
  • Microsoft: desktop and server operating systems, as well as Exchange, Hyper-V, Office 365, and other products
  • VMware: primarily vSphere suite and associated 3rd-party products
  • Citrix: XenApp, XenServer, XenDesktop
  • Cisco: switches, firewalls, VoIP systems

As a Senior Consultant, you will be heavily involved in Windows Server (including Exchange) implementation and troubleshooting, network infrastructure support (mostly Cisco network hardware), cloud service migrations, virtual and cloud environments, project management, client management, and acting as a mentor and sounding-board for more junior consultants. You will be expected to be able to come up to speed quickly as technologies change or as new skill sets are needed.

Although most work is performed in front of keyboards or at conference tables, consultants must have own auto and be physically able to lift and carry PCs and other equipment when required. Overnight travel is rare, but occasional after-hours and weekend work may be necessary when needs demand. Consultant will rotate into on-call schedule. Position is based in Denver, Colorado, and all candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

We offer competitive salaries that include a performance-based bonus plan, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes PTO, holidays, 401(k), employer-paid healthcare, disability coverage, and dental, to name a few.

Think you have the skills, energy, and attitude to join us? If so, we'd like to talk with you! Please include a cover letter with your resume.
