JOB SUMMARY:


Develop, implement, manage, coordinate, and evaluate all aspects of the College's student recruitment programs in support of the College's goal of enrolling the highest quality students available and meeting key recruitment targets. Performs additional duties as needed.


JOB DUTIES:


55% - Essential - Student Recruitment: Organize, implement, and oversee all recruitment activities of high school students for the College. This includes: performing outreach for African-American, Latino, and other underrepresented student population and high quality prospects from schools not traditionally represented at Clemson; coordinating with the Public information Director on the development of recruitment materials and multi-media strategies; and developing and implementing a recruitment program for international undergrad student prospects. Assist in athletic recruiting and summer orientation/advising activities as needed.

30% - Essential - Event Management: Manage and coordinate all student and family visits on campus. Manage and Coordinate all special recruitment events such as Experience and Discover Clemson, and the Spring/Fall Blitz. Manage the College Phone-A-Thon to students accepted to Clemson who have not yet committed. Develop and host events for families and prospective students in major cities where Clemson's brand is established or emerging. Develop and host events at community and technical colleges to enhance the quality of our transfer student population.

15% - Essential - Department Collaboration: Coordinate with Department Chairs to find target high quality prospective students for the College's individual majors. Coordinate with our university and College alumni relations network as a recruitment strategy. Incorporate current student participation as appropriate.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Up to 50% - Overnight Travel


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:


Master's degree and 3 - 5 years experience in student service programs or similar recruiting/advising related fields.


WORK SCHEDULE:


Standard Hrs: 37.5; Band: 06 ($ 41,000 - $ 57,500)
