West Virginia University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics seeks a board certified/board eligible pediatric neuropsychologist to join the faculty practice in Morgantown, WV.
Successful candidates must have completed an APA/CPA accredited clinical psychology graduate program, with an APA/CPA accredited internship with a neuropsychology focus, and a 2-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Applicants must be eligible to sit for ABPP in clinical neuropsychology. A focus on child clinical neuropsychology is necessary. Immediate eligibility for licensure in West Virginia is required. Responsibilities will include providing excellent patient care as well as teaching medical students and pediatric residents. Additional teaching opportunities exist with medical students and residents within the department and broader Health Sciences Center on topics relevant to psychology/neuropsychology. Opportunities exist to participate in clinical and translational research.
Clinical responsibilities focus on neuropsychological evaluations of a rich variety of neurological, neurosurgical, medical and psychiatric populations. This is a clinical position with strong teaching and supervision expectations within our well-known, training-focused APA-accredited clinical psychology internship, which has a neuropsychology focus, and our APPCN postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.
