Position Summary: Faculty responsibilities in the School of Nursing would be associated primarily with the Nurse Anesthesia Graduate Nursing Option and include didactic and clinical instruction, program and curriculum development, student advising, general departmental duties and continuing professional development.


  • Responsibilities and/or workload will encompass both didactic and clinical education for graduate students enrolled in the College of Nursing and Health Professions’ Nurse Anesthesia Option.
  • Nurse Anesthesia faculty members are expected to maintain involvement in college and/or program committees, and continuing professional development.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have a Doctorate degree from an accredited institution of higher education, an unrestricted and valid Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license, and nurse anesthesia practice experience of minimally 2 years. A prior history of teaching experience is strongly preferred.
