Posting Summary:
The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking applications for one or more full-time positions to teach introductory business courses in the undergraduate program beginning August 2017. The strongest candidates will have demonstrated excellence in both practicing and teaching principles of business, business strategy, history of business, business and society, and innovation.

The McIntire School of Commerce awards a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Master of Science degrees in Accounting, Commerce, and Management of Information Technology. It serves over approximately 700 upper-level undergraduates and 300 graduate students. Undergraduate students enter the McIntire School in their third year at the University and concentrate in at least one of five fields: accounting, information technology, finance, marketing, and management. McIntire graduates are actively recruited by major professional services firms (e.g., accounting firms, consulting firms, and investment banks) and Fortune 500 corporations. The School's programs have been recognized as among the best in the country in evaluations and rankings conducted by such publications as Business Week, US News and World Report, ComputerWorld, and Public Accounting Review. Qualifications:
The strongest candidates will have demonstrated excellence in practicing and teaching principles of business, business strategy, history of business, business and society, and innovation. Master's degree in a business-related field, and significant work experience in higher education are the minimum requirement. A Ph.D. in a business-related field, with significant teaching experience, is preferred.
