Bachelor's degree. Ability to demonstrate professional competence in research activities.


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic data collection software. Familiar with MRI scanning protocols. Experience with recruitment of participants. Experience with Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocols.


Brief Description of Duties:

The Research Support Specialist (RSS) will support PET and MRI brain imaging clinical research studies of psychiatric disorders. The RSS will directly interact with study participants, including recruiting participants. The RSS will also accompany participants to PET and MRI scans, which may require occasional travel. The RSS will also maintain the integrity of collected data in an electronic database and maintain the study protocol documents and compliance with all Institutional Review Board policies. The successful incumbent must have excellent interpersonal, organizational and time-management skills.

  • Recruit, screen and schedule research participants.
  • Coordinate participant appointments.
  • Accompany participants to PET and MRI scans.
  • Maintain collected data in an electronic database.
  • Maintain study protocol documents and IRB compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
