The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Hospital Medicine has an opening for a full time Instructor to work at Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora and the Children's Hospital Network of Care. Members of the Section of Hospital Medicine provide care to patients at Children's Hospital Colorado and the Network of Care, participate in the education of fellows, house staff, advanced practitioners and students and are active in a variety of research fields.
Examples of Work Performed:
Care of pediatric patients admitted to general pediatric wards or observation units at the Children's Hospital Colorado and its Network of Care.
Care of well newborns and newborns admitted to Level 2 NICU.
Routine newborn circumcision, lumbar puncture, procedural sedation.

Salary and Benefits:
The hiring salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

- Experience in teaching residents and/or medical students
- Experience in Quality Improvement work or Patient Safety work
Condition of Employment:
- Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado
- Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check
