The Apothecary at the Wardenburg Health Center on the University of Colorado Boulder campus, is seeking a full-time pharmacy technician (payroll title: clinical instructor). This position is responsible for the entry and filling/compounding of prescriptions at the pharmacy along with IV admixture preparation. In addition, this assignment includes purchasing duties, providing support to the pharmacists as needed, and scheduling, training and working with campus work-study students. Salary is commensurate with experience and this position is eligible for a full University of Colorado benefits package.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, business administration or a closely related field. Pharmacy technician certification is preferred. Work experience as a pharmacy technician may substitute for the certification on a year-for-year basis.
