The primary role for the Coordinator of Ticket Sales is service, retention, renewal and upgrade of new and existing season ticket holders for all ticketed sports through the use of all our technology and marketing tools. The position will assist the ticket office in a variety of functions for the Athletic Department. This position will participate in programs that have been developed to increase season and individual ticket sales, increase attendance and grow relations between donors, internal and external customers and students. The position is responsible for conducting all activities in compliance with Pac-12, NCAA and University rules and regulations. Additional duties include researching and continually enhancing the list of benefits for our season ticket holders. The Coordinator of Ticket Sales will execute all activities in coordination with Ticket Operations and Sales, the Buff Club, Marketing, Analytics, and Digital Marketing managers.

This position will be responsible for preparing, analyzing and interpreting reports using Paciolan, CRM software and Ticket Intelligence to determine the timing and success of the process.

What your key responsibilities will be:

Manage Season Tickets for Women's Soccer and Women's Lacrosse
  • Collaborate with marketing to increase attendance and revenue.
  • Manage renewal and retention.
  • Implement strategies that assist in meeting the department goals and objectives (from the other ticket coordinator position).
  • Create season in ticket system.
  • This position has the latitude to make decisions based on customer information and feedback by negotiating prices and discounts to generate attendance and team following.

Daily Operations
  • Assist department management with the day-to-day operation of the Ticket Office and Ticket Services.
  • Attend weekly and/or monthly meetings to insure the coordination with Marketing, Development and other internal departments to ensure that external customers receive correct and consistent information.
  • Assist with current promotions including donor events, game day events and community group events.
  • Manage and process all complimentary ticket requests and trade agreements.
  • Ensures that the highest standards of customer service are met.

Training and Supervision
  • Assist in staff training and preparation of training materials especially as it relates to renewal and retention.
  • Illustrate leadership and provide supervision to all part-time and student customer service representatives.

Supervise Ticket Production
  • Supervise printing, stuffing, mailing and tracking single ticket sales. Assist Ticket Manager with reconciling events and invoicing all outstanding balances.
  • Assist Data System Analyst with maintaining donor records, data entry and management.

Customer Service
  • Assist with current promotions including donor events, game day events and community group events.
  • Assist with the daily operations of the Ticket Office and game day operations.
  • Ensure that the highest standards of customer service are met.

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $35,000.00. What we require:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Experience in a ticket office or related experience in promotions, marketing or communications.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

What you will need:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

What we'd like you to have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in sports management.
  • One year of experience in a BCS Athletic Ticket Office.
  • One year of experience using CRM and Paciolan (Spectra) systems or related ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules.

Preferred qualifications may be used to further reduce the pool of applicants to those who are most highly qualified.
