College of Law - Alumni Affairs
This position helps coordinate information and services for College of Law alumni. Answers main phone line, checks and responds to office e-mail account, proofreads/edits office correspondence and documents, and maintains files. Assists with database maintenance, conducts research, and provides support for office functions and events. Conducts inventory of office supplies and merchandise. Creates/generates reports. Acts as internal and external office runner. Serves as backup for administrative office staff and performs other duties as assigned.
Data Entry: Involves use of BlackBaud/Raiser's Edge database, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Internet Research.
Event Planning: Involves staffing events; reviewing, editing, and mailing invitations; creating and maintaining RSVP lists; designing and printing name tags; calling invited alumni, and organizing and printing all event materials.
Editing: Involves the review and editing of major mailings to alumni, gift proposals to alumni, and any materials to be distributed at alumni events.
Project Coordination: Including but not limited to Student Give Back Campaign:
creating promotional materials arranging set-up
staffing Student Give Back Campaign tables aid in tracking student giving
compiling faculty and student organization challenge information
staffing all Phonathon events organizing Phonathon forms
ensuring missing alumni information is researched and updated
creating Phonathon training materials
staffing all weekend events creating name tags for events maintaining RSVP list
attending and helping to run events
assisting with dissemination of information regarding events
Alumni Visits/Regional Receptions: assisting with creating itineraries generating maps
making packets of alumni information compiling and shipping reception materials
Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software and standard office equipment/procedures. Must be able to independently prioritize multiple work assignments, maintain professional office demeanor and interact with a wide variety of constituents (faculty, staff, alumni and others). Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable form of personal transportation.

This is an OPS/temporary Job.
$9-$11/hour, depending upon experience.
Position is 40 hours per week. Occasional night and weekend hours may be required for special events.
Criminal Background Check
