Facilities Management is seeking a Facilities Training and Development Specialist who reports directly to the Facilities Management Personnel Manager and will support the Chief Facilities Officer's 2017-18 initiative for Facilities Management: Training and Professional Development.
The Facilities Training and Development Specialist provides administrative oversight for all training and instruction conducted internally and externally for staff employees assigned within each Facilities Management Department; and ensures SAP training data entry per employee, respectively.
In addition, the Facilities Training & Development Specialist develops learning curricula; recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives; and conducts various training classes or modules of training. This position will actively assist in the development of individual training and development plans for Performance Evaluation and Succession Planning.

Physical Requirements

Occasional standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; Occasional lifting , pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; and Regular sitting at computer work station for extended periods with repetitive motion.

May be exposed to loud noises, fumes, confined spaces, and weather or temperature extremes while on a job-site(s) or traveling to/from various work-sites.


Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

Hours of work may vary dependent upon situational factors and involve night(s); weekend(s), and holiday(s) response to conduct, monitor and/or oversee training at various work-site locations.


MS Windows/Office; SAP; KRONOS; two or more years of training delivery experience.

Driver's License and the ability to drive are preferred.
