* This position is a part-time non-benefits eligible position. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: * Attend appropriate department/schools/university/committee meetings as scheduled, including participation in ongoing accreditation compliance activities. * Participate as a member in the following committee meetings. * PA Student Performance Committee (PASPC). * PA Studies Curriculum Committee (PASCC). * Department monthly meetings. * PA Program Annual Planning Retreat. * Model the PA-Physician Team to PA students. * Assist in recruiting new clinical sites and clinical preceptors. * Provide faculty development for new preceptors. * Serve as a resource to other faculty in the PA program by participating in instructional delivery and design. * Participate in peer review of teaching activities as assigned. * Use effective communication skills when dealing with faculty and students. * Participates in reviewing and revising the mission of the program.* Comply with UNTHSC policies and other faculty responsibilities as assigned.The University of North Texas System is firmly committed to equal opportunity and does not permit - and takes actions to prevent - discrimination, harassment (including sexual violence), and retaliation on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, family status, genetic information, citizenship or veteran status in its application and admission processes, educational programs and activities, facilities, and employment practices.
